This oil was painted on my Harmony Township, New Jersey back porch with my 5 month old baby boy next to me in his playpen. You can see our sour cherry tree and huge raspberry patch. Our yard backed up to farmland and over the years we had several hot air balloon landings there!

Hooked Rug:
"Romeo and Cicadas" 2006
This rug is an ode to my late, great dog Romeo, who loved to eat Cicadas and was my best friend for ten years.



Hooked Rug:
"Election Night" 2000
In 1998, I started rug hooking. This was my first rug. The name comes from the fact that I finished it at 3:00am on the night of the 2000 election. The original pattern was called "Flowers & Flame" by Lib Calloway



Hooked Rug:
"Sunflower Children" 2004
This was a gift for my parents. If you look closely, it has the initials of all of the their grandchildren hooked into the background.
